New European Managing Director takes the wheel at Pall-Ex

Pall-Ex has taken another step into its new age as a European Managing Director for its International operation is appointed.

The appointment sees Mark Steel take on the newly created role, that will be a key position for the continued growth of the number one network for quality across mainland Europe.

The Pall-Ex network provides services across the whole of Europe, with national partners in eight nations including Italy, Poland, Bulgaria and France.

Having had previous roles in the Royal Air Force (RAF) and elsewhere in the logistics industry, Mark joined Pall-Ex as Head of Sales and Marketing in 2016. Since then, he has progressed to Director level and supported the business with an abundance of corporate volume.

A number of new staff appointments have been made in recent months, thanks to Pall-Ex in the UK becoming the first pallet network to be owned by a combination of both members and the senior management team in November 2019.

Non-Executive Chairman, Martin Rantle joined the business in January, with UK Managing Director, Barry Byers starting in on March 1st.

Mark Steel comments: “I am looking forward to taking on the challenge as our network grows throughout Europe in what is an exciting time for Pall-Ex as a whole.
