Pall-Ex Poland becomes the latest Pall-Ex Group Master Licence Holder to launch the Group’s sector leading IT Solution, Nexus.
Having gone live in early March 2022, Nexus provides Pall-Ex Poland’s membership with better control of their freight thanks to the system’s sector leading Freight Management System (FMS), tracking capabilities and its innovative integrated messaging system. This feature allows members to communicate better than ever before.
Nexus has been built in-house by Pall-Ex Group’s IT team in Coalville, Leicestershire, and its launch is the latest delivery of sector leading technology from the business, following the successful launch on MyNexus previously.
MyNexus is an award-winning software and is the customer facing module of the Nexus Core Operational System (COS). It gives customers full freight visibility and provides total transparency and control for all their consignments.
The launch of Nexus in Poland is yet another step on Pall-Ex Group’s IT journey which has involved a multi-million-pound investment that is driving the Group’s IT infrastructure to the forefront of the market.
Pall-Ex Poland’s Managing Director is Piotr Kołtuniak and he is excited about the launch of Nexus.
Speaking about the benefits the system will bring for the network’s members, Piotr comments: “We are excited by what Nexus will bring and how much it will streamline so much of our day-to-day operation for us and our members.
“Nexus allows our members to view all of their pallets at on one simple screen, as well as allowing them to create watch lists and alerts.
“Our members have given really positive feedback so far and I think that the Pall-Ex Group IT team have done a great job in delivering this system.”
Dave Dunhill is Pall-Ex Group’s Chief Technical Officer (CTO) and it has been he and his team that have been behind the development and implementation of Nexus.
On the Poland launch, he comments; “When we began building Nexus, we had a very clear goal in mind and that was to deliver a sector leading system capable of providing Pall-Ex Group members with every tool they could ever need whilst being part of a Pall-Ex network.
“Hopefully we will continue to hear positive feedback from the team in Poland and its members. They are the people who use the system everyday so it is very satisfying to hear and it gives us the motivation we need to continually push to deliver developments to the system.”
