Last week, Pall-Ex Romania, opened its innovative new hub in Sibiu, with a capacity to handle over 1 million pallets per year.
The operational efficiency created by the cross-dock design allows Pall-Ex Romania to prepare for future growth and exceed their current pallet volumes.
The 6,000m2 terminal has 24 gates, which allows for the loading and unloading of 24 trucks at once. 3,000m2 of internal space boasts an open parking area, exclusively for trucks waiting to be loaded and unloaded, increasing operational efficiency.
The advantages for streamlined operation and improved efficiencies will benefit not only Pall-Ex’s membership but also their customer base.

Pall-Ex Romania’s new hub will also play host the company’s main offices.

Since its inception in 2011, Pall-Ex Romania has transported more than 2 million pallets throughout the country, and with the opening of the new hub, it aims to reach 2.7 million by the end of 2019.
